AI Transparency Notice
What the Justo assistant does, where its answers come from, and when a person takes over.
1. You are interacting with an AI system
Justo provides AI assistants for hotels. The assistant is designed to identify itself as an AI assistant at the beginning of the guest experience, before it handles the conversation as a hotel representative.
This disclosure is intended to be clear at the first interaction, whether the conversation starts in a website widget or a connected messaging channel.
2. What the assistant can do
- Answer questions using information supplied by the specific hotel.
- Explain rooms, services, operating hours, prices, and policies when those facts are available.
- Collect details needed for a booking request or service request.
- Use connected availability or property systems when the hotel has enabled them.
- Route a conversation or structured request to hotel staff.
3. Sources and tenant isolation
Answers are grounded in the selected hotel's knowledge base, configured rules, conversation context, and connected systems. Justo is a multi-tenant service: one hotel's knowledge and conversations must not be used as another hotel's guest context.
When information is missing or uncertain, the assistant should say so, ask a focused clarifying question, or offer human follow-up instead of inventing a fact.
4. Limits of AI-generated answers
AI-generated answers may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. A response is not a final booking confirmation unless the conversation clearly states that a connected booking system or an authorized hotel representative has confirmed it.
For urgent, safety-related, accessibility, medical, payment, or other consequential matters, contact the hotel directly and do not rely only on an automated response.
5. Human oversight and handoff
Guests can ask for a human manager. The assistant may also hand off a conversation when hotel confirmation, an exception, or a staff action is needed. Hotel staff remain responsible for final booking decisions, service commitments, and follow-up.
6. Personal data
Guest messages and voluntarily provided contact details are processed to operate the conversation, prepare requests, and support hotel staff. Details about data, retention, third parties, and deletion are available in the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions.
7. European AI transparency
This notice supports the transparency principle in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act): people interacting directly with an AI system should be informed that they are interacting with AI unless that is already obvious in context.
The Article 50 transparency obligations apply from 2 August 2026. The information must be clear and distinguishable, provided no later than the first interaction or exposure, and meet applicable accessibility requirements.
The notice describes Justo's current product behavior. It is not a certification or a claim that every hotel deployment automatically satisfies every legal obligation. Hotels remain responsible for how they deploy and describe the assistant to their guests.
8. Contact and correction
If an answer appears incorrect, ask for hotel staff or contact the hotel through its official contact details. Questions about Justo's AI transparency can be sent to info@justo.com.ua.
